This is a remix of thing:1719411. I added a backing plate for enhanced stability. To achieve a seamless color transition, follow these steps: Print the first 1.10 mm with a contrasting background color, then pause the printer. Switch to red filament and resume printing, ensuring a smooth merge of colors. Alternatively, use Simplify3D's advanced features: Go to the advanced tab, select "stop printing at" 1.10 mm, and initiate the print. Once complete, change the filament color to red. Navigate back to the advanced tab, uncheck "stop printing at," and set the start print value to 0.90 mm. This will allow for a flawless color shift and a professional-looking finish.
