Every year, we collect two pumpkins from our local patch. We visit during the second week of October - precisely two weeks prior to Halloween - and carve them immediately upon return. Invariably, by the time Halloween arrives, the pumpkins are mere hollow remnants of their former selves. This year, I decided to delay carving until right before Halloween. Still, we wanted to utilize our pumpkins until then in some way. I thought it would be adorable if we could use Mr. Potato Head-style pieces with them. I sat down at my computer and spent about an hour using FreeCAD to design two separate faces - one for myself and one for my girlfriend. Of course, there's no rule preventing you from combining elements from the two faces. Print the individual components with the pins facing upwards. Once printed, you may wish to heat up the mouths slightly with a hair dryer and gently bend them to conform to the natural curvature of the pumpkin. HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE!
