Mr. Met
thingiverse
It's baseball's beloved mascot, Mr. Met. My wife requested this custom gift for her birthday and I'm proud of how it turned out despite its challenging shape. To ensure smooth printing, orient STL files with flat faces facing down whenever possible. Print Settings Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer: MakerBot Replicator Mini Rafts: Yes Supports: No Resolution: 0.1 - 0.2 Infill: 10% Notes: Print the base without supports, as it will still yield a decent result despite some minor overhang. For the hat and nose, print with supports since they'll be hidden from view anyway. All other components can be printed on flat surfaces. Post-Printing Stitching: To add a finishing touch, I used a red Sharpie to fill in the stitching details, which really brings the model to life.
