Human: https://www.worldhorsewelfare.org/news/world-horse-welfares-world-horse-trail https://judyboyt.com Mr. Melvin Andrews arrived at Penny Farm, our Rescue and Rehoming Centre in Lancashire, after showing up unexpectedly in a woman's backyard when her 13-year-old granddaughter responded to an online advertisement. He aids us in raising awareness of the dangers of online advertisements and how easily horses and ponies can be bought via the internet. His closed eye design highlights just how many people are unaware of this issue. Mr. Melvin Andrews was part of World Horse Welfare's Borough Trail in Windsor and Chelsea between April and August. The master sculpture itself was created by acclaimed artist Judy Boyt, based on the story of Lucas, a frozen and abandoned foal who was rescued by World Horse Welfare and has flourished into a beautiful sport horse.
