Walking Robot Type 2, a low-cost 3D printed robot, can be built using an affordable gear motor. I successfully implemented the Type 2 claw foot mechanics to enable arm movement in and out as well as mouth opening and closing. Two AAA batteries power this device. Constructed from PLA plastic, it's a feasible DIY project.
