Mr LongARM

Mr LongARM

I designed and printed this for myself a few years ago when I had tumor surgery on my leg. I couldn't bend my leg for 40 days, unable to sit or bend down to pick up something. In 2020, this device can help keep distance from any hazards. Use twenty-by-twenty aluminum square pipes and M3 screws as shown in the picture. Use TPU or Flex for lip inserts (for a better grip). Alternatively, print in ordinary plastic and glue them if you don't have any Flex filament. Use one-millimeter steel cable to deliver close action from the trigger to the pulley. Rope tends to stretch quickly; I used one-millimeter steel cable. Use some bungee strings for auto-open action.
