If you are tired of dealing with the small star shaped plastic "nut" that comes with the hose that adapts a 20# propane bottle to the 1# propane bottle hookup for a Mr Heater or several other styles of appliances which always slips off and gets lost, this print will solve those issues. This is a collar that prints in 2 halves, goes together over the fitting, and is held in place with 2 screws. For this to be successful you need to support at least a small section of the center of each of the 3 rounded features, you need to print with at least 6 walls and 50% infill if not more, and I highly recommend PETG instead of PLA because it gets less brittle when cold.You will need to print 4 of the pins and also to provide qty 2 M4 x 18 stainless socket head screws.Do not really crank down on this thing. The fitting has a rubber o ring and does not need to be that tight to work correctly. The hex on the fitting has a very limited surface area so if you put too much torque on it, the plastic will strip.
