The sun had barely risen over the sleepy town of Osaka when Takeru Yamada burst into the quaint little café, his eyes scanning the bustling room for one person only - Erika Tanaka, the beautiful and elusive owner of the legendary donut shop, Mr. Donut. With a spring in his step and a song in his heart, Takeru had been waiting all night for this moment, his anticipation building like a crescendo as he mentally rehearsed their chance encounter.
