Mr. Coffee Portafilter Funnel

This is a funnel for the portafilter that comes with the Mr. Coffee brand espresso machine shown in the included pictures - they've redesigned it several times over the years, so make sure you're using the same model. Simply drop it in and pour your grounds without making a mess! It works well with my tamping station (as shown in the pic) that can be found here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1975420 Some thoughts on food safety: This item will come into contact with coffee grounds, so please handle it in a way that's safe for food before use. I print mine in ABS and brushing with acetone yields a smoother, less porous, and hopefully safer surface. A couple of coats of food-safe polyurethane is another technique I've heard about. It might be worth looking into different options, but the risk here is minimal because we're dealing with dry food and very brief contact. Print Settings: Printer: Qidi Tech I Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .3mm Infill: 15% Notes: I've modded my Qidi Tech I to use a glass print bed, and I didn't have any adhesion issues printing narrow side down without a raft. If you're having trouble with print bed adhesion, a raft might be useful. Supports are not required.
