Mr. Clown's Ender 3 External Electronics Case V2 -- OEM and SKR E3 Mini Edition
thingiverse
Basically I really liked the look and style of the original but wanted to make it work for my SKR Mini E3 Board. All ports remain accessible. BUT BIG BIG BUT, all the extra functionality such as buck converters have been removed, as I don't use them, and didn't have any on hand to verify fit and finish. You will need to extend your wiring to make this work on a standard Ender 3 as the wiring harness is a little snug. I also simplified some of the geometry, namely the rails, as they gave me endless grief getting everything to fit cleanly, it results in a little more play in the rails but in my opinion MUCH easier to work with, but less elegant. Substitute my parts where needed, namely upper body, lower body and fan holder. Please note that there is no longer a cooling shroud for your steppers in this design due to board geometry. I couldnt think of a good way to implement the shroud and keep the form factor, would need to design an enclosure from scratch. Step file is attached for further tweaking should you desire
