MR-9 Battery Adapter

MR-9 batteries are specifically designed for vintage film cameras. Unfortunately, MR-9 batteries have become difficult to obtain. This solution is intended as an alternative to the discontinued MR-9 mercury battery. To accomplish this, use a SR43W Silver Oxide battery (1.55V) to convert voltage to the equivalent of an MR-9 Mercury battery (1.3V). The diameter of the adapter's anode is slightly larger than that of the MR-9. As a result, there may be cameras that cannot be used with this adapter. The function of the adapter has been confirmed with the following cameras: PENTAX SPF, OLYMPUS PEN-F, and OLYMPUS 35RC.
