MQC Fusion GoPro Hero 5 Session Mount for Reelsteady 30deg
thingiverse
Needed a custom GoPro Hero Session 5 mount for my MiniQuadClub (MQC) Fusion quad frame that seamlessly integrates with Reelsteady software. To use a Hero Session 5 with Reelsteady, specific GoPro mounts are required to filter out unwanted frequencies in raw footage; without them, the video will not work and Reelsteady videos look awful. I designed and 3D printed a 30-degree angled mount using Fusion360, adding base and springy support legs for stability. The Hero Session case serves as the foundation, while the TPU-printed mount provides a secure fit. After testing the mount with various flips and flops, I successfully processed my footage through Reelsteady to achieve a buttery final video that showcases my piloting skills - or so it seems! My Superview is now ready for the GoPro Hero Session 5.
