MQ330 Grasshopper Quadcopter Frame
thingiverse
This is a design I have been working on for quite some time, it's a 330mm miniquad with modular add-ons like FPV and GPS functionality that really take it to the next level. This is the third iteration of the model as I have performed rigorous testing and plenty of crashes that were actually pretty helpful in the long run. LiPo has been moved internally for better protection, and all electronics have been relocated forward to minimize damage from impacts. It flies exceptionally well and the arms are stiff and strong enough to withstand relatively big impacts without any issues at all. I will be including "Expansion Packs" like camera mounts, landing gear and other accessories so feel free to follow me and look out for these in the coming days or weeks. This Quad needs to be assembled from the top down, with all legs mounted to the top plate, FC/ESC/PDB can be mounted to the top plate with standard 30.5mm mountings that work perfectly every time. Feel free to suggest updates or modifications, happy to make changes if there's enough people interested in seeing them happen. Parts list: All 3D printed parts that are really well made Flight Controller (I use Omnibus F4 V3 OSD with iNav) for top-notch performance 4 x 2206 - 2307 motors (I use RacerStar BR2307S) that deliver amazing power and speed 4 x 6045 Props that provide a smooth and quiet ride every time 35Amp ESC (I use Racerstar 35Amp 4in1) but individual ESCs will work just as well for even more customization options Power distribution Board of choice to keep everything running smoothly and efficiently Lipo Battery (120mm x 53mm x 36mm** max battery size if mounted internally) that provides plenty of power for long flights **30mm max height if mounting the GPS above the battery due to the retainer for added protection and stability VTX of your choice (I use an Eachine 25mW) for crystal-clear video every time GPS Module (I use a Ublox M8N) that provides accurate and reliable location data 24 x 15mm M3 Socket HD cap screws - Frame assembly that make it easy to put everything together 12 x 6mm M3 Socket HD cap screws - Motors that keep the motors securely in place 2 x 10mm M3 Socket HD cap screws - GPS Mount for a secure and stable installation Camera Mounting Hardware will be included in the Camera mounts Expansion Pack (Link will be provided once uploaded) to make it easy to add your favorite camera.
