I am assembling an Arduino safety switch that will interrupt power to my printer if smoke is detected or temperatures become excessively high. The switch relies on an Arduino platform, incorporating an MQ2 sensor to monitor air quality and a DS18B20 temperature sensor for precise readings. This project draws inspiration from the Scalar MQ2 mount design. Version 2 of this assembly adjusts the extension height of the DS18B20, allowing the top portion of the Scalar MQ2 mount to remain intact.
