Bed wires tend to stray under the bed and get tangled with pulleys and belts. To prevent this, a protective insert is designed to be placed under the bed, isolating the wires from the pulleys and belt. Printed using PLA, with 0.2 layers and 75% infill. Remove the screws holding the Y rod closest to the tower. Pivot the bed upwards on the remaining attached rod. Carefully slide the belt guard into place, ensuring that the bed wires are positioned to the left of the guard. Secure it with M3 8mm screws above the Y rod. Lower the bed back down and replace the Y rod screws in their original position. The assembly is complete; verify that the bed continues to move smoothly forward and backward. It's recommended to cut the zip tie situated just south of the bed heater and north of the grommet, but not the one connecting wires to the bed. The object has been split into two parts for printing on a standard mini model. You can glue these pieces together afterwards. I tested this design with a two-part print; it worked beautifully after shortening the female section. The mating sections should print cleanly in this orientation. Make sure the bottom two files load in the recommended orientation.
