MPSM Filter Bar + Front VESA Bracket Remix
thingiverse
I really liked the filter bar mount by Jason Jones and when it came time to figure out how to put a VESA mount on the front of the MPSM, I realized I had a conflict. I found the remix by Mike Evans which I also liked, as well as the VESA mount remix by Alexis Green but neither suited my needs perfectly. I wanted the base of the filter attached firmly to the part and set at the proper height to feed right into the extruder just like all the existing designs, except that even with mounting tape, they were a bit too low. You'll want to print this design with supports and it uses the filter that is hinged by a piece of 1.75 mm filament. I remixed this in TinkerCAD as "MPSM Combined Filter and Front VESA Mount" and made it publicly available for you to modify further if you'd like. This design is intended for the stock extruder bracket, so if you've replaced that with one of the aluminum extruder kits, you might need to tweak the alignment of the filter to the intake hole. This is my very first remix, so your comments are greatly appreciated.
