** Updated base connector, see below This remix provides modifications for the Monoprice Bed rewire cable chain, featuring a wider opening that allows all cables to thread through without removal of connectors. It's assumed you've drilled a hole in the center of the MP Select Mini's base for threading wires through. The original design had a large connector issue with heater rewiring, which wouldn't fit through the chain link or the base chain. Modifications were made to the following designs: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2198351 "CHAIN_BED_V2.stl" now has a wider hole for wire threading and two holes for zip ties, as shown in pictures 1-2. This new file is called "CHAIN_BED_V2_dbmod.stl". Note that longer M3 screws might be needed when mounting. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1167746 "CableChainLink.stl" now features a wider hole for cable threading, with multiple links visible in picture 3. The new file name is "CableChainLink_dbmod.stl". https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2151537 File "Chain_BASE_2.stl" has been widened to create a circular opening, now called "CHAIN_BASE_2_outside_dbmod.stl" (seen in pictures 5-6). Additionally, a cylindrical part called "CHAIN_BASE_2_inside_dbmod.stl" has been added, which protrudes on the outside and is press-fitted into the "CHAIN_BASE_2_outside_dbmod.stl" part. This design allows for cable threading through the hole (seen in picture 4), with heat shrink tubing protecting the wires. The cylindrical part also features holes for twist ties, but they didn't work as planned. Instead, a twist tie tip is inserted between the wire and the inner part of "CHAIN_BASE_2_inside_dbmod.stl", as shown in picture 7. ** The base connector has been updated to one piece under the name "cable_chain_base_new.stl" (seen in photo 12). Supports will be needed for the overhang of the tube, which I achieved with a 75-degree angle. To assemble, thread the cable through the connectors, then cables through the back hole and press the connector through the hole from outside to inside.
