Remix of Robin7331's baseplate. The main modification is this plate is designed for use with the "Improved Extruder Arm" from vicviper, found on https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1868163. See below for my modification of the arm or visit https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2517811. This required several modifications: 1) Lowering the height where the elbow of the arm sits. 2) Moving the back wall where the spring sits, as the original design had too much tension for this arm. New Info: This modification may create less tension than needed. Please try my modified arm with adjustable tension at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2517811. Additional modifications: 1) The extruder stepper motor no longer needs to be removed, as the hole has been widened. 2) The pneumatic fitting nut hole has been enlarged for a tighter fit. 3) The bridge over the gap has been reinforced. 4) The tube fitting throat hole has been beveled for easier tightening. One issue is that when assembling the plate, it may ride up when the two back screws are tightened. To prevent this, do not tighten all the back screws first and then install the extruder elbow screw. Instead, tighten down evenly while holding the front of the plate in place to ensure proper alignment. This slight tilt will not affect the tube alignment but be careful that the bearing is aligned properly for optimal tension on the stepper sprocket. Modified "Improved Extruder Arm" at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2517811 now allows for adjustable tension with a screw, increasing spring tension.
