Hacked up the end of the gantry support arm and added a tab for the switch, making this an easy enough modification to undertake. Simply slide it onto your support rod and enjoy a nice open adjustable Z limit switch. I did have to ream it out a bit with a round file, but I'd rather do that than have it be too loose on its own. If it's still an issue, I'll make it a bit looser for you. It does have the spots for clamping screws after all. If you need an 8mm version of this mod, check out the remixes available! Edit: ZGantryswitch_fixed.stl was uploaded on July 9th, 2017. Apparently S3D didn't like the original design, so I ran it through netfabb instead.
