MPP CNC FC - CNC foam cutter
thingiverse
Most cutting-edge parts are now computerized numerically controlled foam cutters, known as MPP CNC FC. Materials: 20x50x2 mm aluminum tubes are used. I opt for 1000 mm x-axes and 500 mm y-axes on both sides. Print all components in PLA, ABS or PETG twice and glue the x and y wagon parts together with CA-glue. The control board will be an Arduino Mega paired with a ramps 1.4 board. Four Nema 17 steppers are employed. Eight millimeter threaded rods have both ends machined to five millimeter diameter using a lathe, with one side featuring an additional five millimeter thread for building a fixed bearing with the parts: Halter_y and Kappe_z. The other sides are flexible couplings attached to the Nema steppers. Thirty pieces of ball bearings f625zz are required. Twenty pieces of seventy-five millimeter M5 bolts, nuts, and many washers are used. Washers should be placed between screws, bearings, and plastic at all times! Be cautious when mounting the bearings! The spacer Sockel is the baseplate for an aluminum sheet that holds the hotwire and will be mounted on the front side of wagen_z.
