MPOW Bluetooth Adapter Repair Kit

The bumper on my MPOW Bluetooth adapter broke, causing its buttons to fall out. To fix this issue, I designed new buttons and an optional bumper that can be attached to the device. These new buttons are printed in PLA plastic, but any material should work for printing them. They can also be installed without the need for a bumper. The bumper itself should be made from a flexible material like TPU. Initially, I tried attaching it using hot glue, but super glue proved to be more effective for this purpose. To ensure proper installation, start by gluing one section at a time and use clamps or a vice to let the glue set properly. There's some extra slack in the design that will need to be trimmed off with a razor blade. Take your time when installing the bumper, as it can be easy to get hasty and accidentally apply too much glue to the case. I learned this lesson the hard way, but fortunately, I was able to remove the excess glue using acetone - albeit at the cost of wiping away the MPOW logo in the process. The pictures included show the device before, during, and after installation of the new bumper.
