MPMD Squashball feet
thingiverse
My Monoprice Mini Delta was plagued by a noisy performance due to the resonance behavior of its housing, which the Squashballs effectively damped with their vibration-absorbing properties. I struggled to find a design that would accommodate the Squashballs' feet in a material-friendly way, so I compiled this solution from various designs available on thingiverse. This solution consists of two files: one for low-profile and another for high-profile configurations. The low-profile version features a reduced thickness of the joint between the housing and the squashball holder, making it suitable for printing with PLA. In contrast, the high-profile version has a thicker feet joint that works well with PETG or ABS materials. Key characteristics of this design include: * No supports are needed. * Printing can be done using standard settings for any material. * It's recommended to use Squashballs with 2-dot or 1-dot markers. * Three parts are required to complete one MP Mini Delta. * The design can be printed easily on the Monoprice Mini Delta.
