I had devised a magnetic holder that attached directly to a snap-on holder but ultimately decided that the design was overly complicated. Instead I designed a straightforward, single unit, magnetic holder that holds a piece of cardboard over the MPMD opening. Three clips can be used to cover all the openings. I utilized a piece of cardboard that is approximately 3mm thick. I have included designs in 1, 2, 3 and 4mm thickness in case you wish to experiment with different materials such as Corex or thin clear plastic. I bonded a single 12mm diameter neodymium magnet to attach the piece to either the top cover (hanging down) or the bottom cover (sitting up). If you only use it on the bottom, it probably doesn't need to be bonded. Since the extruder interferes with the top area of the MPMD on one side, I found that having the clip sitting on the bottom worked best for me. By trimming the cardboard, I was able to close most of the gaps. It would be easy enough to redesign the clip to hold a piece of flexible material in a slight curve to keep the cover from touching the extruder when printing large diameter prints. I have uploaded a curved design that can be printed on the MPMD. Due to the limited print diameter of the MPMD, I made it 115mm, which is the largest I can print without running into problems. I print on glass, which is slightly larger than the standard print bed material that comes preinstalled. I believe it will still fit but it's tight. Because of the size limit, the door material covers from tower to tower, but there's a slight opening at the bottom at each side that couldn't be covered. A single magnetic connector holds a cardboard door in place, and you can use two (one on the bottom and one on the top) for a better seal and stronger connection. If you don't have any snap-on parts, you might also be able to secure the door into the side tower slots. However, this probably makes the doors harder to put in place and remove.
