# Why another set of feet? Wait, what's going on with shoes for feet? I recently printed the Monoprice Mini Delta Feet Replacement by 3Dgoon in PLA since I didn't have Flex Filament yet. Now that I have some TPU 55D, I kinda liked the look of the red PLA feet I already had too much, and printing flex is much slower, so I decided to make a thinner layer (5mm) of TPU that can be put right under 3Dgoons feet. In their description, 3Dgoon suggests using double-sided tape to add it, but I didn't really like that idea as much. The original design does holes for M3 screws, but having the whole printer stand on the screws directly would make the whole flex-layer useless, so I added recesses to the layer that allows the head of the screw to rest inside the flex shoes, so the shoes will actually be carrying the printer, thus dampening vibrations. # How to use * Print the feet designed by 3Dgoon in PLA. I suggest it. * Print the shoes in your favorite Flex Filament. If you want to print Flex on your MPMD, check out my extruder-top, it will make your life a lot easier. * Remove the screws from the original end plates of the MPMD. * Use long M3 screws (about 25mm length) to screw feet + shoes on.
