MPMD Cura Machine setup files

I have compiled the three files necessary for incorporating the MPMD printer into the Cura Machine list. These files will allow you to view the MPMD printer under Monoprice when setting up a new printer. The primary json file contains essential information about the printer, along with the **Start and End GCode** that I utilize on my own printer. This file can be edited before use to meet your specific requirements if they differ from mine. In addition to the main json file, several mesh files are included to display the MPMD bed in CURA instead of a circle. You can choose any one of these options. Brian Kurtz's mesh is also available on the MPMD FB group for those who prefer it. To utilize these files, simply place them in the correct user directories. For Windows users: * Place the files in the following directory: C:\Users\~username~\AppData\Roaming\cura\~version~ For Linux and MacOS users, refer to this link for assistance on locating the proper directory: https://github.com/Ultimaker/Cura/wiki/Cura-Preferences-and-Settings-Locations The files should be placed in the following folders: * **definitions** for the *__mdmp.def.json__ file * **extruders** for the *__mpmd_extruder_0.def.json__ file * **meshes** for the mesh file you choose to use, specifically *MPMD_platform.stl* You can copy multiple mesh files into the meshes folder; however, only one named *MPMD_platform.stl* will be utilized. You should rename this file if necessary. Notes and Warnings: Use at your own risk. Be aware of potential risks involved. Cura generates numerous cfg files that you should not alter. It relies on base files like json files and mesh files to create and maintain printer profiles. Altering these files can cause Cura to throw an error upon startup if other profiles are using the same files. Avoid using these files if you have created multiple profiles and are uncomfortable making changes at the file level. These files do not modify Cura, but there may be conflicts with printers defined that use the same ID/Name. Cura uses machine IDs to identify profile changes stored within it. The id for this printer setup is mpmd (which can be edited), and the name is M P M D. You can change the name if you prefer. If you are not concerned about resetting your Cura profiles or have yet to create printers/profiles, you should face no issues. However, if problems arise, I have found that Cura may fail to start if there's a conflict but usually starts after retrying it several times. Once running, you can delete problematic printers. In the worst-case scenario, you might need to rename your Cura User folder (C:\Users\~username~\AppData\Roaming\cura\~version~) and allow Cura to create a new empty one for you. Your data will remain accessible but would require manual reconstruction or retrieval from a zipped backup. If Cura fails to start, I do not recommend resetting your user settings until attempting to restart several times. When resetting user settings, all profiles and machine settings are backed up before removal. You'll begin with a clean slate. To restore items, you either rebuild from scratch or access the zipped folder for the necessary files. If Cura can be started without resetting, you can then delete any problematic machine to remove the conflict while preserving other profile information.
