After adding clearance parts around the 3 columns, I needed to find an alternative way to attach my power supply, which was initially clipped to the back tower. I decided that a higher amperage rating would be beneficial and found a cost-effective 16.5A PS. I determined that the best location for the PS would be underneath the printer, so I designed slightly taller legs that could also hold the 12V switches (2 in each front leg) and the 120V mains switch (back leg). The mains switch is a standard 120V fused neon switch plug combo. The 12V accessory switches are 19mm LED illuminated. I connected a right angle 5.5x2.5 plug with a short pigtail to the PS, allowing me to plug it directly into the MPMD. The mains switch serves as the on/off switch for the printer. I printed all parts using the MPMD. The legs were printed lying flat without support. The front PS covers were also printed without supports and then bolted together using M3 bolts and nuts. I recommend using 12mm M3 for most parts, except for the front casing, which requires a 16mm bolt. If you plan to use nuts on the back of the front cover, you may need at least 16mm. My PS had a small hole in the back bottom corner, allowing me to place a bolt through the bottom of the back leg and into the PS. When attaching the legs to the printer, remove the screws holding the current bases in place and replace them with 12mm M3 bolts. The bolts go through the new leg, the existing base, and into the aluminum extrusion. Depending on the calibration of your printer, you may need to enlarge the top holes slightly for proper alignment. Once the front casing and back leg are securely fastened, the PS should sit in place without issue. You can lift and move the printer around with ease. To accommodate the PS, I had to design the front casing to protrude slightly from the printer, preventing it from sticking out too far on either side at the back.
