MPCNC Z axis Cable Chain Bracket
thingiverse
A simple yet effective bracket to secure a thin cable chain to your MPCNC's Z Axis. It fits perfectly with the Nema 17 motor in place. This design utilizes a wedge similar to the head-stem found on bicycles, which securely grips the inside of the conduit. A single M4x20mm bolt tightens the wedge against the inner side of the 24.5mm conduit with ease. It can be used with or without a nut; if using one, you may need to apply some force or heat to get it seated properly in the nut trap. Two M3x10mm bolts hold the cable chain firmly in place.\r\n\r\nI created this bracket specifically for my MPCNC and the cable chain I purchased on eBay. After testing and refining it, I'm happy to share the F360 file with you so you can modify it further if needed. Please note that I haven't tested this exact model myself; however, I did test a previous version and made several improvements, including widening the slot for bolt movement and adding a shoulder to prevent the M3x10mm bolts from catching on the cable chain.
