Forewarning: This is the first thing I've created to be printed in mass production. I designed it using Sketchup's basic features because that's all I know how to do at this point. It was created out of necessity to get my machine working with the new center assembly and universal mount. This is a mount that I specifically designed to fit the Universal Mount on the Mostly Printed CNC. I use it for a Harbor Freight Trim Router 44914. I used a mount for a Makita rt0701c in my last build and it fit perfectly, so the rt0701c should also fit it without any issues. Tool diameter is roughly 2.5 inches in diameter. I printed two of them, one for the top and one for the bottom, and it holds it pretty steady, but you could print one or two more to hold it even better. I started with the hf_trim_router_mount_low_profile_v1.stl file, but my printer glitched, so I realized that the height might be a problem. So, I made the _beefier version that's a little taller, and I suggest using that one instead. It sticks off the machine about 0.5 inches because I was worried it would interfere with the Z bearings. But it had plenty of space, so I should have gone shorter, because you'll lose about 1mm on one axis because the tool hits the conduit. This might not happen on your machine depending on how high you run the tool. The tool mount attaches to the universal mount by two 0.75 inch #6 bolts and nylock nuts used throughout the rest of the machine, and then one more pair to close the tool in the mount (three bolts & three nylock nuts per mount). I printed it with 70% infill and three perimeters, but I might go higher if I reprint it. Please post your build photo if you use it, and also give me any feedback on the part. Thanks!
