This is a simple wedge style anchor, akin to an old school bicycle stem for the handlebars.

I originally tried Don Gamble's design of a basket at: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4622031 but didn't get the scaling right for my EMT based machine, and designed to redesign.

I assembled these parts with Don's Pipe mount, a 1.5" #6 machine screw and a #6 nut. They get tight very easily, and seem to hold quite well during assembly (don't have the machine running yet to do any other trials).

I've also posted solidworks and step files, in case anyone needs to modify this.

Print Settings

Printer Brand:

Monoprice

Printer:

Select Mini

Rafts:

No

Supports:

No

Resolution:

0.175

Infill:

20%

Filament:
Any PLA Black

Notes:

Resolution won't matter much for these parts.
I'm currently using Prusaslicer and the variable layer height feature because it saves me 25% print time compared with stock layer heights.

How I Designed This

Everything was designed in Solidworks.

Category: 3D Printer Accessories
