When I first embarked on building my MPCNC machine, I realized that efficiency with space was paramount, as I had already reached capacity in my compact workshop/garage. I also yearned for a new workbench, so I thought, why not merge the two projects? Some of my key design requirements included having an extremely stable and sturdy removable workbench atop a solid surface to support my CNC machine. I also integrated retractable wheels (casters) to enable easy movement when necessary and secure it with doubled-up 2X4 legs for enhanced stability. The only aspect I would modify is possibly increasing the Z-axis clearance, but so far, it has been more than sufficient. I have uploaded the complete Fusion 360 file as well as the cut lists used to construct this workbench. Please note that some of these joints are not strictly essential, but I incorporated them to boost the overall rigidity of the structure. If you decide to build one, I encourage you to share images of your project, especially if you make any improvements!
