MPCNC Stepper Motor Shrouds
thingiverse
I needed a way to neatly organize wires on my MPCNC. I created these wire guides, and they accomplish just that. There are three components: a standard guide, a guide with mounting hardware, and a table mount. The regular guide is attached to the motor whose cable will be directed down through the conduit. The guide with mounting hardware goes on the opposite motor of the same axis. The guide with mounting hardware was designed to connect with a drag chain. Specifically, it's compatible with the IGUS E08-30-028. Additionally, there's another mount included that will accept the other end of the drag chain. This piece can be mounted to your table top to secure the drag chain in place. The two guides have holes for zip ties so that cables can be secured into position, reducing the risk of anything interfering with the motor. I had to rotate the guides 180 degrees around the Y-axis and was then able to print without using supports.
