MPCNC Makita Tool Mount

All current Makita tool mounts position the Router far from the MPCNC center gantry. The closer to the gantry, the stiffer the entire setup becomes. WARNING: To make this work, you'll need to grind down the bolt heads on the 4 bolts of the Z assembly. I used a Dremel and it worked, but it took ages. A bench grinder will surely speed up the process significantly. (Just be careful not to burn your fingers like I did – those bolts get extremely hot!) This setup also places the ON/OFF switch in a hard-to-reach location, so an external switch might greatly help. If you're okay with this configuration, then this mount is what you need. It's rock solid and looks very cool!
