MPCNC Makita/Katsu - Dust Shoe

This is a dustshoe designed specifically for the MPCNC Makita/Katsu machine. To attach it to your Makita motor, simply screw it in place. My design focuses on two key concepts: Firstly, I aimed to redirect the cooling air that flows through the Makita Motor and prevents dust from accumulating around the milling area. The dustshoe effectively deflects most of this air out through its five side-mounted holes, resulting in a remarkably clean environment. Secondly, by placing the vacuum connector off-center instead of at the machine's center, I created a small cyclone effect that draws in more dust particles. While not a perfect solution for dust removal, it works impressively well, especially when dealing with wood chips and debris.
