I've building a Lowrider2 MPCNC on my YouTube channel Teaching Tech. I attempted create dual endstop auto squaring with the sensorless homing of the TMC5160 with SKR V1.3 but it wasn't quite suited to the application.

I found a simple part by AmperCZ that I based my parts on. My microswitches had a hole spacing of 9.5 mm which didn't matching this thing, and I also needed more mounting option that just the x axis. I used vernier calipers to measure the original part and then modelled up mounts for X, Y and Z.

I also found and printed the MKS Gen L case from aslak3, which mostly fits an SKR V1.3. I still needed mounting brackets, so quickly modelled some to suit the 25mm angle aluminium I was using for my build.

Full details here: https://youtu.be/Vljd9lJXu0E

I recommend printing the X and Y parts with ABS, as it is more flexible during fitting. PLA might work well for you as well.

The remaining parts can be PLA.

Post-Printing

M2 x 10 mm bolts are ideal for attaching the microswitches to the mounts. M3 x 30 mm bolts with locknuts are the right length to tighten the parts and clamp down on the 25/25.4mm tube. The Y mounts are best attached with 16mm countersunk self tapping screws.

Full details of placement/fitment in the video.

Update

I decided to give my Lowrider2 an overhaul, as detailed in this video:

New parts have been added:

The electronics case is to suit a BTT SKR V1.3 mainboard with an MKS TFT28 touch screen.

The router clamp goes onto a Rybo corded trimmer router and adapts it to the end pices of the Open cable chain by Claghorn: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:611593

The V support remix is a replacement part for the original provided by dna in their XZ Primo style belt rensioner: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5236620 It allows the 25mm aluminium extrusion to sit perpendicular, rather than o a 45 degree ‘V’ angle.

PSU brick clamp are used to bolt the 12V PSU brick to the plywood side piece. Use adhesive backed foam to grip the brick tighter.

Powerboard spacers I used to lift up a small powerboard above the bolts on the plywood side panel. Self tapping screws go through the spacers into the timber, leaving 4mm or so sitting proud for the powerboard mounts to hook onto.
