This is a custom version of the original LCD control box for Ramps 1.4 made by B-Cup. I wanted to modify this design to fit my existing RepRap Discount LCD and also make it compatible with JST-SM connectors that I already had on hand. I found an excellent model by Turpinator, used his JST-SM panel as a template, and came up with this wider enclosure that fits the longer LCD perfectly. The front panel has some extra space left over, and I plan to add switches later on for added functionality. I also included the original backplate with RJ45 keystones in case someone wants to use that version. The design was modified to fit the larger enclosure without any issues. I used http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:35438 for the faceplate, but I had to find it manually because the thing editor wasn't able to locate it through search results. This project is still a work in progress, and I haven't printed or tested the fitment yet. UPDATE - 10/25/16 I ran into some problems with the mounting screw locations and fixed that issue. Additionally, I added an alternative version of this design with mounting holes for rocker switches to control features like LED lighting and fans. I purchased these switches from http://www.ebay.com/itm/252123068521. There is also a faceplate without switch holes available, but I may end up creating some sort of insert if I decide not to use any of the switches.
