So I purchased stepper motors without an onboard connector. Assembling them was straightforward, but when performing maintenance or upgrading, reconfiguring the entire wiring setup each time is a significant challenge. I've observed examples of using RJ45 connectors, which appears to be a viable solution, however, I don't have any spare RJ45 connectors on hand. Fortunately, I do possess JST 2.54 connectors, which are readily available from various online retailers such as AliExpress. To simplify future maintenance and upgrades, I designed custom endcaps for these connectors, ensuring they fit perfectly within my 25mm conduit without interfering with the MPCNC rollers. Although the design isn't a precise fit, some minor filing was required to accommodate the connector. Additionally, these endcaps are specifically tailored for 25mm conduit with a 2mm wall thickness. For those interested in optimizing or adapting this design for their particular conduit type, I've included the relevant Fusion 360 files.
