Mostly Printed CNC Tool Mount for Harbor Freight's 3.5A Electric Cut-Out Tool I designed a sturdy mounting system for this affordable tool, which typically costs less than $20 on sale with a coupon from Harbor Freight's website. The tool's specifications can be found here: http://www.harborfreight.com/electric-cutout-tool-42831.html. Print Settings: Printer: i300Pro Raft: No support needed Resolution: 0.26mm Infill: 45% Notes: I used high-temp, dishwasher-safe PLA from MakerGeeks at a temperature of 230°C. This type of PLA is slightly more flexible than standard PLA but still provides a solid structure. Post-Printing Assembly: The mount requires seven sets of 6-32 x 3/4" screws with lock nuts – four sets for mounting to the tool base and three sets to secure the tool in place. Since I'm still assembling my MPCNC, I anticipate this cut-out tool will work well for basic tasks.
