MPCNC Electronics Box for MKS GEN 1.4 and Relay
thingiverse
I designed this enclosure as a protective case for the electronic components that power my MPCNC, which I'm currently building. The design provides ample space to mount the MKS GEN 1.4 control board and a two-channel relay, allowing me to easily turn the spindle on and off. A vintage 80 mm fan with an aluminum grille will be mounted on top of the enclosure. Photos of the finished project will be available soon! To replicate my design, you can start by downloading the MPCNC blueprint from Thingiverse (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:790533). You'll also need to purchase the MKS GEN 1.4 control board from Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/Witbot-MKS-Gen-Controller-Integrated-Mainboard/dp/B01LW1Y1D2/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1537987592&sr=8-4&keywords=MKS-Gen+V1.4+Controller) and a two-channel relay from Amazon (https://www.amazon.de/Channel-Automation-Appliances-Optimus-Electric/dp/B06XFQPVXV/ref=sr_1_6?s=industrial&ie=UTF8&qid=1537987462&sr=1-6&keywords=2+channel+arduino+relay). **Update 2018-09-27:** I've made some changes to the design, including adjusting the spacing of holes for mounting the 80mm fan and adding a top section for a 70mm fan. **Update 2018-09-30:** I've posted photos of my printed electronics box online.
