I recently discovered that this exact same product accepts a 2.5-inch vacuum extension, whereas my cyclone was previously experiencing an implosion due to a mismatched hose configuration - specifically, one end being connected to a 2.5-inch shop vac hose while the other end was attached to a 1.5-inch shop vac hose. By upgrading to this particular dust shoe, I was able to resolve the issue and now enjoy increased suction power without any implosions occurring. This product stands out as either one of the best or possibly even the original best dust shoe option available for my specific setup.
