I've made some tweaks to my MPCNC, and I thought it'd be a good idea to gather all the modifications in one place. I'll try to track down the original sources for files and ideas, but if I miss any, please let me know and I'll add them to the list. The belt tensioners are a combination of two different designs. I took the best parts from each and merged them together. Since they sit further out from the center, you'll need to use spacer washers and move the motor gear a few millimeters back. You can use standard 6mm belts or upgrade to 10mm belts by using double bearings and wider motor gears. To tighten the belts: start with the adjustable side first, putting the belt through the horizontal slot block while loosening the bolt completely. Then, put the belt through the fixed side (vertical slot). By hand, pull the belt through the fixed block until it has a light tension, then secure that side by tightening the screw. Finally, adjust the screw on the other side (horizontal slot) until you achieve your desired level of tension. The X or Y cable chain adapter is designed to sit right next to the X or Y bearing assembly, giving you maximum build space. I recommend attaching the end of the cable chain to the adapter before installation since it gets installed close to the bearing.
