I built one of V1 Engineering's MPCNC cnc machines. I needed a custom spindle attachment to attach my Chinese 500 watt spindle to the machine's tool holder. If you notice, the screw holes for the #6 screws to the tool holder slant inward by 15 degrees.. The spindle mounting holes on this part are for 1/4" screws and nuts and my spindle gives plenty of room so as to not come close to the bearings. The screw holes are purposely tight to allow one to screw in a 1/4'' screw slowly into the nut in the nut trap, stop at the back of the nut, do not go farther. I printed it at 100% infill and it fit perfectly and is rock solid. 100% is probably overkill but I think a little extra plastic now will make it last longer. Go to https://www.v1engineering.com/ to check out the MPCNC. Thank you Ryan and the gang of helpers who did all the heavy lifting to make a DIY machine that is really easy to make and for very little money. I have provided my Openscad code for anyone who wants to remix or use in any way.
