MPCNC 4040 mid span supports
thingiverse
Mid-span supports for a long axis MPCNC (Mostly Printed CNC by Allted) mounted on a frame built from 4040 aluminum extrusions securely hold the machine in place. These supports complement the [MPCNC 4040 frame mount](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3036995) corner pieces, making it easy to customize with STEP files included. The design comes in high and low versions, perfect for either your X or Y axis, and was specifically designed for the international 25mm "F" version of the MPCNC. The tabs on the bottom slide into the rails of the extrusions, ensuring a snug fit and keeping it stable. Between the tabs is an exact space for an M4 slide nut, just like the `Frame_Corner` and `FrameR_Corner` pieces. Both `Frame_SupportX` and `Frame_SupportY` require an M4x35 bolt to screw through the part and into the slide nut, but bolting it down is completely optional. You can choose to simply place them on the frame and let the weight of the conduit hold them in position, allowing for easy sliding to the side if needed. Alternatively, you can secure them with bolts for a permanent fix – the decision is yours!
