I found the foam covers for the MP40 to be unappealing due to their tendency to clog up frequently. This ring is specifically designed to fit snugly around the base of the MP40QD wet-side, featuring a slot that accommodates gutter guard mesh seamlessly. It's worth noting that this design only fits the QD wetside model and will not accommodate the older MP40 wetside variant.
