MP40 Remixed Parts

Some time ago I downloaded the model of the German submachine gun MP40 for my 3D printer. The model is originally from lilykill, a talented creator who has released it on two platforms. Each platform offers different content, and I recommend downloading all files from both sources to get the complete set. You can find the original models at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1038339 and https://www.myminifactory.com/object/3d-print-mp40-23568. Keep in mind that not all parts are available on Thingiverse, so you'll need to download them from Myminifactory as well. For me, the MP40 is a pure model kit, designed to be visually accurate rather than fully functional. Lilykill has done an excellent job of creating this model, and I'm grateful for their hard work. However, there's one issue: neither platform offers satisfactory versions of the collapsible shoulder rest or its mechanism. Some parts are also too large to print on a standard 3D printer bed, like my Anycubic i3 Mega (22x22 cm). To overcome this, I've divided these parts into two and glued them together. This may require some additional work, but it's worth the effort for the sake of accuracy. To achieve smooth surfaces, you'll need to sand everything thoroughly. I used a putty called "PLASTO" from Revell, which adheres well to PLA and can be sanded easily. Be prepared for an extreme sanding effort, though! I've only included the modified parts of the MP40 in this remix, so you'll need to download the rest of the model from the above links.
