This awesome MP3 audio castle is based on the incredible TonUINO. All details for electronics and software can be found on this website: https://www.voss.earth/tonuino/. Based on this, I decided to build my own version for my daughter. I added a light portal so she feels asleep more easily if she listens to an audiobook at night. The main focus of this design was that no screws are needed for assembly. So I ordered from the big company starting with A****n: 1. Electronics: TonUINO Set für Arduino (Mp3 Player, Nano V3.0, RFID Kit und 10 x 13,56 MHz RFID Karten. 2. Loudspeaker: Arduino Lautsprecher 3 Watt 8 Ohm Single Cavity (square). 3. Buttons: DealMux a15071500ux0851 SPST Momentary Red Square Push Button Switch, 5 Stück, AC 125 V / 250 V, 4 A / 2 Amp 4. LED stripe: Hergon USB LED Streifen, 0.5M-2M Bunt Farben LED Licht mit 24 Key Remote für TV Hintergrundbeleuchtung,Ribbon Licht, Seil Beleuchtung,Küche LED-Beleuchtung,LED Streifen Lampe (1m) 5. Wires to reduce soldering effort: 9 x Jumper Wire Kabel x 40 STK. je 20 cm M2M/ F2M / F2F für Arduino und Raspberry Pi Breadboard Assembly of castle: After printing the castle "Base" you can snap in the Arduino, MP3 - Modul, RFID reader and the loudspeaker. The three buttons snap into the "Roof" of the castle. The wires at the buttons and the loudspeakers must be soldered. The rest can be easily plugged in by using a tweezer and the jumper wire cables. As mentioned above the schematic for the circuit can be found here: https://www.voss.earth/tonuino/ Assembly of Light Portal: Print the "Portal Top" in transparent material and the "Portal Bottom" in the color you like. Inside the "Portal Bottom" is a podest, where you can place the IR transmitter of the LED stripe. It will be fixed by closing the housing with the "Portal Top". Be aware that the IR - receiver of the stripe must face to the top Printing: The Base needs support for the loadspeaker clamps. In your slicer you can block the support for the SD card and the USB openings. Block the support for the PCBA snapper as well. I added the FreeCAD files as well so you can pimp your design if maybe one of the parts can not be ordered anymore or has a different shape. Have fun!!! update 27 Feb. 2019: I added an additional "Light Portal Top" with Remote Control Holder, both versions work.
