Z spacers for the MP Select Mini These spacers are used when changing the buildplate to something thicker like glass or when the extruder assembly is changed and the hotend hits the bed with the bed screws tightened all the way. They range in size from 1mm - 5mm in .5mm increments Insert onto the X axis carriage within the white housing of the printer nearest to the filament roll. The flatter side of the Z Spacer should go towards the hotend with the numbers facing up. The part will snap onto the carriage and the extra thickness will trigger the X endstop x mm sooner. May need something like a screwdriver to gently pry the arms open when removing, they snap on as to not fall off randomly during use. These also come in handy when changing to a non-zero offset hotend / extruder assembly. I just recently changed mine and am using an aluminum sheet on my bed and I needed 1.5mm of space so I just made a bunch of sizes while I was already designing one.
