MP Select Mini V1 - Hotend Sock Mold

thingiverse

This is a basic yet effective mold for crafting a hot-end sock designed to fit the standard hot-end that comes with Monoprice's Maker Select Mini and other Malyan M200 variations. The process mirrors the one demonstrated in this Thing: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1655134\r\n\r\nI'm uploading this at the request of another MPSM user who needs a replacement hot-end insulation, but be aware that it's far from being a 100% refined and polished design. As it stands now, there's a clearance problem on the lower front edge of the sock that requires trimming to allow the stock fan shroud and duct to fit properly. The relatively long unsupported segment of the sock hanging behind the nozzle also tends to sag slightly. In my case this doesn't cause an issue, but if your situation is different, you might encounter problems. For those who are adventurous, I've included the original STEP files as exported from Fusion 360, in case you'd like to address the shortcomings of this version and share it with others, or a STEP model of the hot-end itself if you prefer to start from scratch.
