This is V2 of a bed mount for the Monoprice Select Mini printer (V1 was never released, rather I used it to create V2) More photos will be uploaded once they are in. See the mount in action! https://youtu.be/TkQPhMxPyo8 Model printed in video: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:33804 EDIT 9/2/16: I've looked into both bed clips. Edits as follows: The right clip had its horizontal arms extended by 1mm to better fit the black bed frame. This puts the total difference to 4mm, the same as the distance of the inner screw to the edge of the frame. The left clip had the vertical catch on the top horizontal arm reduced by 2mm to match the distance on the right side. This was a mistake I overlooked when designing the part. Overall, it shouldn't affect functionality, but it should help with getting the arm between the bed and the bed frame. Print Settings: Printer: Monoprice Select Mini Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Resolution: .2 Infill: 20% Notes: The bed clips should be the only parts that need support. Installation You will need one of each piece, except for "Edge Clip Top", print off two of these. You will also need two M3 screws and corresponding nuts, as well as a 1/4 inch screw with a nut. The bed clips snap onto the black frame of the bed, with the holes vertical on top. This should place the hook on the bottom and leave the two L-shaped arms on the side corresponding to the part names, one on the front and the other between the bed and the black frame. The "Edge Clip Top" will go on the arms on the top and will hook onto the bottom of the sheet metal frame. The "Edge Clip left/right" will go on the arm on the front with the corresponding side (The left clip should be shorter than the right clip. This is because of the depth of the rail mounts under the frame). Find the Triangular "Cross Beam Tripod Mount", and hold it with the sloped block on top. Drop the 1/4 inch screw through the large hole, and then use the nut to hold the screw in place. Flip this piece over so the flat side of the triangular piece is upwards (the head of the screw should now be on the bottom) and feed the M3 screws through the two smaller holes. Line these screws up with the holes on the bed clips and feed the screws through. Screw on the M3 nuts tightly. You can now attach any standard tripod screw accepting mount onto the bed of your Mini! It's great for filming smooth time lapses where the print head jumps around and not the part being printed! Note: I used a 2 inch long 1/4 inch screw and a second nut to hold the tripod accessory for my GoPro firmly in place. You can do without the second nut and still get a firm mount if you position the screw at the right orientation for your mount. This might be easier to do by attaching the nut loosely, tightening your mount, and then tightening the nut on the screw to hold you mount at the correct angle. Results This was recorded on V1 of the mount.
