MP Select Mini Tower LED Bar
thingiverse
I loved Jason Jones' Ball and Socket Lamp design for its simplicity, but I needed more from my mini lamp mount. I wanted to light up my bed from above, not have the fixture hogging space on the side of my printer. The gooseneck design required too many ball sockets, which I didn't need or want to deal with. I tweaked the bar size to fit the 12V LED strip lights I managed to get my hands on. I also widened the channels for the wiring so that larger gauge wire could be easily fed in to power the LEDs. To make it work with the stock bed, I'll have to rotate the STL by 45 degrees, but that's a minor adjustment considering how easy it will be on the 4th Dimension Mods extended bed.
