Designed to elevate the roll of filament when utilizing the 4th Dimension's Modifications tall side plates, this component ensures a smooth printing experience. As the tall side plates are designed, the AC power plug protrudes from the left side of the machine, obstructing the filament spool. This clever spacer/riser raises the spool approximately 28mm (about an inch) to provide adequate clearance. It works seamlessly with 8-inch diameter spools of filament. However, larger diameters will still likely interfere with the power plug's position. Printed on end, this part requires no supports during the printing process.
